In One to One I have transposed the text from several found shopping lists which form part of a collection of found text (comprising notes, shopping lists, pocket diaries and other ephemera) and embroidered the text onto second hand handkerchiefs.

My particular interest in these found texts is in the actual handwriting which is expressive and personal these lists were not written to be read by anyone else but the author and they remind me of haiku and concrete poems and just like the handkerchiefs they were destined to be scrunched up in a pocket and lost or discarded.
